We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Asia Fixed Income Division COO, Vice President / Executive Director.

The FID COO team partners closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring and Senior Management to provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership across the business. The role is based in Singapore with a focus on Macro (FX & Rates) and Credit products.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.

What you’ll do in the role:

The role is responsible for driving execution of business priorities, managing financial resources, and ensuring strong coordination with control and infrastructure partners. This position acts as a key connector between the business and functions including Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and HR, with a focus on delivering efficient, scalable, and well-controlled outcomes.

Business & Strategic Support:

  • Partner with Sales, Trading and Structuring leadership to support execution of business strategy across Macro and Credit businesses.
  • Provide thought partnership on new initiatives, business expansion, and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver senior management updates, business reviews, and ad‑hoc analyses.

Financial Management & Analytics:

  • Oversee financial reporting and analytics, including P&L, revenues, balance sheet usage, capital usage, headcount, and cost management.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes, including qualitative commentary and performance analysis.
  • Support preparation of materials for regional and global management forums.

Projects & Change Management:

  • Lead and support cross‑functional projects, including process improvement, automation, and operating model enhancements.
  • Partner with infrastructure teams to streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a central coordinator for initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Support implementation of firm‑wide or divisional change programs impacting the business.

Stakeholder & Communication Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact between the business and infrastructure functions, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Work with First-line Risk teams to support delivery of key governance / risk / regulatory processes and assist with internal audits / regulatory requests.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Strong experience in a COO, Business Management, Strategy, or similar role within Fixed Income, Markets, or a related financial services environment (more than 10 years).
  • Solid understanding of Fixed Income products (Rates, FX, Credit), financial markets, and trade lifecycle concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage complex analytics, financial data, and senior‑level reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter with strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to operate independently.
