Work Schedule:

Onsite – Bangalore, IN

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for Suitable Supplier identification, evaluation & development to suit to product

requirement.

Drive Strategies for Cost reduction through process optimization/ alternate source development. Responsible for New part development, specifically Motor components Viz. Connectors, wire

harness, Magnets, Laminations etc & Electrical Drives.

Work closely with Buyers to mitigate the risks associated with regular purchase parts. Work closely with Quality department in bringing new supplier sources by organizing initial

assessment with Audit & to ensure the capability of supplier to supply right part with required

quality to deliver on time.

Responsible for finalizing the price for the commodities being handled. Responsible for FAIR & PPAP clearance. Responsible for driving the projects for cost reduction, dual source establishment, localization. Manage Supplier relationship & communication. Should be able to take up other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Authorities: Qualifications:Education/degree:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering

Work experience 7 to 8 years of Experience in Strategic sourcing.

Other skills, experiences or highly desirable qualifications

• Thorough knowledge on Connectors, Wire harness, Magnets, Laminations & Motor building

process.

• Handled Global suppliers.
• Should have driven cost reduction projects.
• Well versed in supplier identification with capabilities to develop the products as per the
• requirement.
• Proficient is usage of SAP as ERP tool for Material module.
• Thorough knowledge on drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge on various metals & nonmetals & its usage.
• Experience in Motor manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
• Experience working with global & cross-cultural teams desirable.
