We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an onsite position at our Santa Barbara/Goleta location. The role of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a challenging position for someone keen to performing all duties associated with management of finished goods inventory. Here’s what you’ll be working on day to day:

• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.

• Receive, unpack, inspect and store incoming materials and supplies.

• Assemble wooden or cardboard containers.

• Ensure correct delivery and shipment of materials.

• Route items to appropriate departments.

• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

• Provide support services to complete technical work focusing on daily plant operations.

Here’s what you’ll bring with you…

• High school diploma, G.E.D.

• 3 years of experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at a time (not exceeding 50 lbs.) and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.

• Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data and create reports.
