MongoDB is seeking a strategic and outcomes-focused Senior Program Operations Manager to support the leadership and execution of the Developer Relations organization. Reporting to the Head of Product & Technical Marketing (PTM) Program Operations and embedded with the Developer Relations leadership team, this role serves as a trusted partner responsible for operationalizing priorities, driving alignment, and ensuring strong execution across Dev Rel.
This role blends strategic support, operational execution, and coordination of Dev Rel content and editorial workflows. You will help ensure priorities are clear, initiatives move forward efficiently, and Dev Rel content is delivered with quality and consistency through well-defined systems, workflows, and operating rigor.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model. Given the global nature of the Developer Relations leadership team across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions, this position requires a consistent late-day working schedule, with core hours spanning approximately 2pm-10pm local time to ensure regular overlap with U.S.-based leadership and cross-functional partners.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Execution Support:
-
Partner closely with the Head of Developer Relations to support planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives in line with strategic objectives
-
Translate Dev Rel priorities into clear plans, timelines, and tracked work across systems
-
Prepare summaries, updates, and materials to support leadership reviews and decision-making, and build automations where necessary
-
Drive follow-through across Dev Rel workstreams and operating rhythms
Content & Editorial Ownership:
-
Own editorial standards, quality, and operational enforcement across Dev Rel and executive-level goals
-
Serve as the primary owner for editorial guidance and its integration into content workflows, including best practices for writing for search engines and LLMs
-
Ensure content/editorial standards are consistently applied across Dev Rel output, and ensure tracking and attribution are accounted for and visible to leadership
Content Operations & Workflow Management:
-
Own the systems and workflows that power Dev Rel content execution in Wrike, including task structures, templates, and documentation
-
Ensure content initiatives are well-scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time
-
Partner with PTM Program Operations to continuously improve workflows and reduce friction
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with Developer Advocates, Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Program Operations, and Marketing Operations
-
Drive alignment between Dev Rel execution and broader PTM priorities
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience in marketing, content operations, program management, or a related role
-
Experience supporting senior leaders and complex, cross-functional initiatives
-
Strong editorial judgment and written communication skills
-
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive execution in ambiguous environments
-
Experience owning and improving workflows and operational systems (Wrike or similar tools preferred)
-
Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
