You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed
- Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
- Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization
- Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live
- Own the relationship with the external vendors including quality assurance in all phases of project delivery

More about this role
The Business Analyst role acts as a critical bridge between business requirements, data owners, and technical teams, focusing on the end-to-end process of sustainability initiatives for Ingredients and Social Sustainability initiatives.
What you need to know about this position: Main Responsibilities Project Management and Business Requirements
- Plan, prepare for, and actively support the implementation of various digital implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration of new data sources, standards, and systems.
- Contribute to project planning, tracking, and execution, especially for system implementation and data-driven initiatives.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful integration of new data collection tools on schedule.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory reporting deadlines.
Stakeholder Management:
- Foster very close collaboration with the Procurement Sustainability team, Procurement team, Impact team, and other MDS teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and data analytics teams, to understand their data needs.
- Act as a key liaison between business requirements, data owners, and technical teams.
- Collaborate with other MDS teams and 3P supplier teams (e.g., HICX, How Good, Farmer Connect, SEDEX etc) to understand system functionalities, address technical details, and manage changes to data collection tools.
Process Improvements and Automation:
- Identify, define, and communicate required changes and enhancements for data collection tools (e.g., Power Apps) based on evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and corrective actions.
- Identify automation opportunities and AI incorporation opportunities within the projects.
- Hands-on development, testing and POC support for AI-led initiatives.
Supplier Sustainability:
- Support robust data collection processes from supplier.
- Coordinate with Procurement teams (e.g., P Cubed team) to ensure supplier sustainability data meets reporting requirements.
Job specific requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator, or similar role, preferably within ESG, sustainability reporting, data governance, or a highly regulated data-intensive environment.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping, and system analysis.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CDP, TCFD, CSRD) and supplier sustainability initiatives is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with data management platforms and internal data collection tools (e.g., Power Apps) is a plus.
