You work in partnership with customers to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both Mondelēz International and the customer. The successful candidate will manage high-value relationships across a multi-million dollar portfolio while collaborating with leading QSR and Full Service Restaurant (FSR) brands.

What you need to know about this position:

You will:

  • Develop and drive broad customer relationships across all levels of key foodservice accounts, with a strategic focus on building partnerships with QSRs and distributors.
  • Identify white space opportunities within key accounts to grow Mondelēz’s portfolio.
  • Execute the commercial strategy for assigned foodservice accounts, ensuring alignment with broader channel and category priorities.
  • Optimize the deployment of resources — including trade investment, promotional activity, and cross-functional support — to maximize profitability and return across foodservice operations.
  • Ensure the delivery of JCBP (Joint Customer Business Plans).

  • Relationship Building & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility, with clear and confident communication abilities (written and verbal).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy including forecasting, ROI analysis, and RGM, with the ability to analyze foodservice-relevant data to identify growth opportunities and drive profitable decisions in both commercial and non-commercial space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Ability to coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) and strong project management skills to ensure flawless execution of key foodservice initiatives and limited time offerings.

  • Analytical & Data-Driven Thinking: Comfort with data platforms (Tableau, Excel, Salesforce TPM) and ability to translate data into compelling stories.
  • Strategic Account Management: Proven success in managing national or regional key accounts, developing, and executing annual business plans.

Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

3-5 years of progressive Key Account management experience (Foodservice/Away from Home strongly preferred)

Job specific requirements:

  • Delivering sales growth according to company provided targets and JCBP (Joint Customer Business Plan).
  • Develop strategies to achieve annual sales goal and collaborate with the customer to implement those strategies.
  • Responsible for working with MDLZ Marketing to help bring Branded Activations to life in both QSR and Full Service Restaurants.
  • Leading QSR customer relationships and present major customer-facing initiatives to support Limited Time Offer (LTO) planning and execution, helping to drive market share and revenue growth.
  • Liaison with our MDLZ USA Foodservice team, ensuring alignment and synergy on North American customers.
  • Responsible for supporting broker activity and providing guidance to help drive their success.
  • Oversee licensing and trademark agreements with key accounts, ensuring compliance and alignment with brand standards
  • Forecast, track and deliver against forecast by category.

Travel requirements:

  • This role will be based in Toronto
  • The role will require some travel primarily within Canada and occasionally to the USA

Work schedule:

Full-time and hybrid from our Toronto office.

Salary and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $101,250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 12% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. Mondelez also offers several generous employee benefits (some subsidized or fully paid for by the company), including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, and enhanced vacation and holiday entitlements.
