How you will contribute Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Application Owner to lead our SAC Center of Excellence team and drive the strategic evolution of our FP&A system landscape. This role will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of day-to-day SAC operations, providing application support, and leading the evaluation and potential implementation of SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Key Responsibilities:

SAC Center of Excellence Leadership

• Lead and manage the SAC Center of Excellence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

• Oversee all technical aspects of SAC day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal system performance and availability

• Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for SAC usage across the organization

• Provide strategic direction for SAC capabilities, including planning, analytics, and reporting functionalities

Application Support & Operations

• Manage end-to-end application support for SAC, including incident management, problem resolution, and change management

• Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Ensure system stability, security, and compliance with corporate IT policies and industry regulations

• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance user experience

• Manage system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations

FP&A System Landscape Strategy

• Lead the development and execution of the FP&A system landscape roadmap

• Evaluate current state architecture and identify opportunities for improvement and modernization

• Drive alignment between business requirements and technical capabilities across the FP&A technology stack

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business leaders to ensure technology solutions support strategic objectives

SAP Datasphere & BTP Implementation

• Lead the assessment and business case development for SAP Datasphere implementation

• Evaluate SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities and integration opportunities

• Design target state architecture incorporating SAP Datasphere and BTP components

• Manage proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs for new SAP technologies

• Develop implementation roadmaps, including resource planning, timeline, and risk mitigation strategies

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for SAC-related matters across the organization

• Build strong relationships with business users, IT teams, and SAP partners

• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively

• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with SAP support as needed

More about this role

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field

• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise application management, with at least 3 years focused on SAP Analytics Cloud

• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing Centers of Excellence

• Strong background in FP&A systems and financial planning processes

• Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, or other SAP analytics solutions

• Demonstrated success in application support and operations management

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (planning, analytics, and reporting modules)

• Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere architecture and capabilities

• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud integration patterns

• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance

• Familiarity with SAP security concepts and role-based access control

• Understanding of API integrations and web services

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams

• Strong project management skills with experience managing complex implementations

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences

• Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision and short-term operational needs

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence without direct authority

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Analytics Cloud certification

• Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud

• Knowledge of SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, etc.)

• Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry

• PMP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

The expected base salary range for this position is ₹8,991,400 to ₹11,239,250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program.
