You won’t be selling a point solution.
You’ll be introducing organisations to a flexible platform that can power teams across their entire business.
As a Business Development Representative, you will partner closely with your Sydney based SDR Manager, Account Executives, Marketing, and GTM strategy specialist to generate qualified pipeline across both existing and new business in the mid-market and enterprise segments.
This role combines inbound qualification with a strong outbound focus, helping us drive strategic growth across APAC.
What You’ll Do
- Perform daily cold calls in an open office environment
- Handle inbound requests from potential prospects interested in exploring monday.com
- Comprehensively qualify prospects according to our MEDDPICC methodology and set up meetings with our Account Executives
- Cross-sell and multi-thread across accounts to drive value of the monday.com product
- Collaborate effectively with team members, sales counterparts, and cross-functional parties
- Create and maintain strong internal relationships
- Proactively design performance optimisation plans to improve key metrics and results (SQLs, opportunities, pipeline generation, won ARR, etc.)
- Maintain high levels of quality activity
- Effectively manage pipeline and nurtures unconverted leads
- Have the ability to adopt change as our growth meets market demand
This role is central to our revenue engine — your impact will be visible and measurable.
Career Growth: 12–18 Month Promotion Path
This role is designed as a launchpad into long-term commercial leadership.
High performers typically progress within 12–18 months into:
- Senior SDR
- SMB Account Executive roles
- Enterprise or Strategic segments
- Broader commercial or cross-functional roles
You’ll receive structured enablement, ongoing coaching, and clear KPI benchmarks tied directly to promotion.
If you perform, you will grow.
- One year of prior experience required, preferably in SaaS, with a strong emphasis on outbound calling experience
- Strong communication skills written and verbal with the ability to connect with an influence C-suite
- Curious mindset with desire to be coached and advance your career
- Ability to leverage data to drive your messaging to prospects and stakeholders
- Passion for the product and talking to our customers to learn more about their needs
- Good time management and analytical skills
- Experience carrying and exceeding KPIs and targets
- Confident and driven personality with the ability to drive and own your territory
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our Sydney office
