About the team
The Payments department in monday.com's R&D is a key player in the company's success. From developing financial & operational processes to handling billions of dollars through maximizing the customer experience in all payment-related flows both internal and external — including usage metering, resource budgeting, and plan enforcement. We see our team as a strategic business enabler since we're in charge of many existing and future planned growth engines across all company products and offerings.
We're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to take part in building crucial business infrastructure for a growing company, supporting new strategies, an ever-growing portfolio of products and Marketplace, Constructing & leading a team of highly talented and independent developers in a dynamic environment where code is deployed multiple times a day. You’ll join our R&D Team based in our headquarters, in Tel Aviv, Israel.
You will be accountable for overseeing the technical direction, team dynamics, culture, and successful delivery of projects related to the Payments domain - usage metering, consumption budgeting and enforcement, contracting, integration with payment service providers & payment gateways, automated fraud analysis, optimization engines, and more. Your technical expertise and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the success of our department

Lead and scale a team of talented engineers building monday.com’s strategic business infrastructure.

Be both a technical leader and a people manager.

You will work closely with the builders - our product, designers, and developers - to execute our roadmap and build an amazing user experience.

Develop features end-to-end, from thinking about the product, planning, working with the UI/UX design team, development, testing, and deployment, to post-deployment analysis.

Be a key member in the group’s leadership forums, and oversee employee development and growth.

Our Stack- React.JS, Redux, Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Kafka, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL. We operate in microservices and micro frontend environments, enabling quick cycles to production.

Experience managing a team and leading projects hands-on from start to finish.

Experience building web applications from scratch in a production environment.

Passion for both server-side and client-side development.

Team player, strong communication skills, empathetic, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
