Solution Area Specialist - AI Business Process

As a Solution Area Specialist - AI Business Process, you will help organizations transform their business processes and technology to adapt and thrive in today’s data-driven AI Age. You will form strong relationships with C-Suite executives and Business Decision Makers among our top customers and help them solve their business challenges through long-term, consultative partnerships. You will help them achieve their business goals by bringing industry-relevant business value insights and innovative, industry-leading solutions to enable their end-to-end business transformations. You will organize and lead the entire sales process, from account planning to closing the sale. You will also be responsible for delivering the One Microsoft narrative, competitive differentiation, customer centric pitch, business value proposition and outcomes, and compelling proposals with commercial options. You will be part of a dedicated sales community supported by your adjoining account teammates and support teams.
We are currently looking for Solution Area Specialist - AI Business Process professionals to join our teams across various business groups, for varying customer sizes, in our enterprise, regulated, and partner services organizations. By applying to this role, you will be considered for multiple opportunities within Microsoft across the United States, including locations beyond where the role is posted. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home. Travel percentages will very according to role.

- Responsibilities- Partner with and lead Account Planning Team on Account Plan for AI Business Process opportunities, including decision maker identification and solution play selection.
- Establish and build C-Suite and Business Decision Maker (BDM) relationships as an industry aligned AI Business Process solutions expert to accelerate Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and AI.
- Build & maintain the required range of qualified pipeline coverage for rolling 4 quarters through digital-first seller tools
- Deliver the One Microsoft narrative and solution pitches to C-Suite executives and Business Decision Makers.
- Orchestrate business value and technical solution demos to align with the customers’ desired business outcomes and solution requirements.
- Manage long-term contract renewals with existing accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and successes.
- Actively and regularly engage in sales community calls/channels and share learnings and best practices.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 2+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account managementOR a Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management
- OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience selling AI Business Process applications to enterprise customers
- 2+ years of experience forecasting, developing demand and building pipeline, and leading/orchestrating complex, matrixed teams.
- 4+ years solution or services sales experience
- Experience with selling CRM and/or ERP applications including Marketing Automation, Sales Automation, Relationship Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce and an understanding of how they translate into business impact and value
- Broad understanding of commercial cloud offerings, ideally including Microsoft’s cloud platform, as well as competitors and related ecosystems.
- Industry expertise in any of the following: Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing & Mobility, High-Tech, Automotive, Oil/Gas/Energy, Professional Services, Telco/Media/Gaming, and/or SLED.
Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $87,000 - $148,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,400 - $164,000 per year.

Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
