Overview
We are building the industry’s leading AI-first application stack with enhanced reliability, performance and scale. Microsoft Foundry is redefining model-forward development with new UI/UX patterns, runtimes to build agents, orchestrating across multiple agents, and a reimagined management and observability layer.
We are a small, friendly, fast-moving team, we support each other to do the best work of our lives, always looking to break new ground, fast. We are proud of what we build, how we build it and that our products will define the AI agent era. We run lean, obsess about customers, and always make our decisions based on the evidence. We ship regularly, so your work will have real and immediate impact. It’s a time of huge change in the AI landscape, and this role will put you right in the heart of it.
Responsibilities:
Join the Microsoft Foundry team as we redefine the build, deploy, operate loop for generative AI development and accelerate the next wave of innovation. We are building the industry’s leading model serving platform, empowering customer applications and agents with unmatched reliability, performance, and flexibility.
We are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to join our Foundry Model team and help us lead the next generation of models, including how we collaborate with our flagship model providers.
This role sits at the center of how Microsoft brings frontier models to market at scale. You will own the connective tissue between model providers, platform teams, and downstream consumers, ensuring that complex releases move from intent to reality with speed, clarity, and operational rigor. The work is highly visible and high impact, shaping how Microsoft collaborates with firstparty and partner model providers and how those models are delivered reliably to customers.
You will operate as a single point of synthesis and accountability across competing inputs, unclear timelines, and shifting constraints. Success in this role requires strong judgment, the ability to represent the company with confidence, and a bias toward building durable systems rather than relying on heroics. You will drive automation of critical workflows such as model launches, reducing manual coordination and creating repeatable mechanisms that allow the organization to scale.
This is a role for a senior PM who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable influencing without authority, and enjoys turning complexity into simple, executable plans. You will work closely with senior engineering leaders, external and internal model providers, and executive stakeholders, translating fragmented signals into clear decisions and outcomes. If you are motivated by building platforms, shaping operating models, and leaving behind systems that continue to work long after you move on, this role is designed for you.

-
3+ years of experience in product development, including delivering one or more AI, cloud services and enterprise grade solutions, scaling.
-
Proven success in launching and scaling multi-million dollar revenue products, ideally in AI, ML, or platform domains.
-
Deep experience partnering with platform, infrastructure, and external or firstparty providers to deliver complex, crosscompany outcomes, including navigating unclear ownership, competing priorities, and incomplete inputs
-
Proven ability to act as a single, credible voice on behalf of the company, representing product, technical, and business positions with senior internal stakeholders and external partners, including in highstakes or timesensitive launches
-
Strong track record of automating operational workflows (e.g., release, launch, onboarding, or lifecycle processes), reducing manual coordination through systems, tooling, and data-driven mechanisms rather than human escalation
-
Experience owning and scaling endtoend launch or simultaneous release style processes, including managing ambiguity around timelines, dependencies, and readiness across multiple teams and organizations
-
Exceptional ability to synthesize fragmented, rapidly changing inputs from engineering, partners, leadership, and the field into clear decisions, priorities, and narratives that unblock execution
-
Executivelevel communication skills, with experience producing concise, decisionoriented updates, recommendations, and tradeoffs for senior leaders in fastmoving environments
-
High operational judgment and bias toward action, including knowing when to push for rigor versus when to simplify, automate, or accept imperfect information to keep the organization
-
Comfort operating in ambiguous, zerotoone or rapidly evolving spaces, particularly in AI, platform, or developerfacing products where processes, roles, and constraints are still being defined
