Overview

Are you energized by the prospect of working in a fast paced, high impact environment creating global corporate events that generate interest, excitement, and demand for Microsoft solutions? Join our dynamic Event Production & Studios Team. The team is responsible for delivering impactful events and media projects which bring our Microsoft story to life, inspire brand love, foster customer engagement and drive sales. Our diverse event portfolio includes like Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft Build, Microsoft AI Tour, Consumer Electronic Show (CES), Natinal Retail Federation (NRF), Mobile World Congress (MWC) and more. We are seeking a Sr. Events Marketing Manager to own and deliver complex, high‑visibility event initiatives in support of business goals. • Lead cross-functional and cross-company collaboration across creative, content, marketing, production, finance, operations, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.

  • Establish and manage structured planning rhythms, including roadmaps, timelines, milestones, governance, and documentation to drive accountability and momentum.

  • Drive event execution with full operational oversight of budgets, forecasting, logistics, risk mitigation, and tradeoff decisions across experience, cost, and risk.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations, sound judgment, and decision guidance in complex and ambiguous environments.

  • Develop and lead Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes, including internal communications, stakeholder updates, and executive briefings.

  • Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to align event experiences with demand generation, registration, and field support strategies.

  • Identify, track, and report on event Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measurement scorecards; lead post-event evaluations and apply learnings to improve future programs.

  • Proactively identify risks and barriers, driving mitigation plans and course-corrections to maintain delivery excellence.

  • Contribute to the evolution and standardization of event operating models, playbooks, tools, and best practices to support scale, efficiency, and quality across the events organization.

  • Embody our Culture  &  Values
