We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics ERP Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Dynamics AX 2012 on-premises and/or Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role as a trusted advisor to enterprise level customers and their partners as they design, develop, deploy and optimize Dynamics 365 ERP implementations.

Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Advisory (Voice of the Customer / Trusted Advisor)
- Act as the voice of the customer and partner**,** sharing insights, feedback, success stories, and technical input with Engineering, Product, and internal communities to improve solution quality and customer outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer business challenges and translating them into AI‑powered business application and business process solutions aligned to customer outcomes, ROI, and Microsoft value propositions.
Solution Delivery & Adoption (Consumption / Usage)
- Deliver a high‑quality customer experience by supporting efficient, well‑architected solution delivery that enables seamless adoption, usage, and satisfaction across the customer lifecycle.
- Drive consumption and usage by delivering solutions using Microsoft methodologies, proven patterns, and best practices, applying change management to support adoption, retention, and growth.
Technical Execution & Issue Resolution:
- Identify, escalate, and help mitigate technical and operational blockers with urgency to accelerate deployment and usage, applying technical knowledge with limited guidance from senior peers.
Business Impact & Opportunity Identification:
- Identify and communicate opportunities for expanded usage and solution adoption, articulating the Microsoft value proposition for AI Business Applications to support cloud success, security, resiliency, and AI innovation, and capturing opportunities in appropriate systems and tools.
Technical Readiness & Community Contribution:
- Maintain technical readiness through continuous learning, contributing to shared frameworks, reusable assets, and community knowledge to help scale customer success and solution delivery.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications
Professional Skills:
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in consulting or customer‑facing roles, including delivery of technical guidance or training.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude with a continuous learning mindset.
Dynamics AX 2012
- Enterprise‑level experience supporting and administering Dynamics AX 2012, including system installation, customization, integrations, performance optimization, and cloud migration.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations – Technical
- Experience customizing and integrating Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including X++ development.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps.
- Experience administering Finance and Operations environments, including sandbox and UDE deployments.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations – Functional
- Functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Budgeting).
- Functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (e.g., Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, Warehouse Management, Master Planning).
- Experience with application monitoring using Application Insights.
- Understanding of regression testing strategies.
Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
