Cloud security is one of the fastest-growing segments in cybersecurity, encompassing the technologies, controls, and policies that protect an organization’s data, applications, and infrastructure across all cloud environments, inclusive of hybrid environments. As organizations continue to innovate and their digital ecosystems become ever more complex across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, they need unified solutions that secure the entire cloud and AI application lifecycle. We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, to help shape our cross-portfolio marketing narrative, storytelling, and growth strategies for Microsoft’s Cloud Security portfolio— including Microsoft Defender for Cloud. In this role, you will partner with engineering to shape the product vision, prioritize investments, and deliver a compelling customer-facing roadmap. You will lead the development of our cross-portfolio messaging and positioning and craft go-to-market (GTM) strategies that drive product preference, adoption, and revenue. As a spokesperson and subject matter expert, you will represent Microsoft Security to internal and external audiences. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with broad scope and visibility across one of Microsoft’s most critical growth areas. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities:

Partner with Cloud Security Engineering on product strategy, including product vision and roadmap.

Foster relationships across Security Marketing, Engineering, Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions organization, and other teams.

Drive relevant analyst relationship strategy and expand recognition in the relevant categories.

Become a product, customer, and market subject matter expert, and engage customers, field sellers and partners, regularly presenting to audiences both large and small.

Lead messaging and positioning for the Cloud Security portfolio and innovations.

Drive cross-portfolio storytelling across marketing campaigns, launch moments, industry events, media, and analyst engagements.

Create compelling, customer-centric content with consistency across all mediums (e.g. webpages, customer pitch decks, blog posts, FAQs, videos, etc.)

Derive insights on customer habits and preferences from telemetry, market research and competitive analysis to inform go-to-market plans.

Collaborate with business planning on business model, pricing, and packaging decisions and bring these innovations to market.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

Additional or preferred qualifications- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years experience in security solutions and/or adjacent enterprise SaaS categories.

Experience creating messaging and engaging content that romances product scenarios rooted in customer outcomes.

Cross-group collaboration skills to work across functions and solution areas at Microsoft.

Executive communication, storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple customer stories.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
