We are the One Drive/Share Point Security and Copilot for Admins product team, part of Microsoft 365 cloud services teams in Experiences + Devices (E+D) division. Our team’s mission is to empower customers with simple, secure, and compliant management solutions that help administer their ever-increasing digital estate. Our product portfolio targets small/medium/enterprise businesses, consumers, and schools.
We are a unique team in a way as we are privileged to work on complex technical platform issues while at the same time having direct customer connections and bringing impact to Microsoft’s bottom-line revenue.
We are expanding to new AI-powered product offerings, such as Share Point Advanced Management for IT Pros with AI-first controls for preventing over-permissioning and managing lifecycle of content. Our team plays a crucial role in the Microsoft 365 Copilot journey, driving innovation and advancing productivity.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who will be responsible for strategizing and expanding our AI initiatives across content security product portfolio and championing integrations across our Microsoft 365 suite. The keys to success will encompass creating a strategy for cross-product integrations across our product offerings in the lens of agentic capabilities and accelerating customer adoption and partnership integrations.

- Responsibilities- You will have the ability to forge solid cross-organization partnerships to achieve common aspirations, aptitude to enable progress through data-driven methodology, and a drive to make our customers and our business successful.
- You will lead the product strategy for elevating Copilot governance with Share Point’s cutting-edge security policies like ransomware protection and many other security platform solutions.
- You will work closely with other compliance leaders and major offerings like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams Premium, Copilot for Sales, etc., This is a collaborative role with emphasis on partnership across organization boundaries and across PM, Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, and Marketing disciplines to deliver impact together.
- You will be the voice of the engineering team in customer conversations and will have opportunities to work directly with enterprise customers and bring impact to Microsoft 365’s core business.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability in interpersonal and communication skills, product insight, user empathy, cross-functional collaboration, system-level thinking, and portfolio management.
- 8+ years experience launching multiple iterations of products to customers.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience. - 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Self-starter with solid communication skills (written & oral), a background of influencing others, and bias towards action.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, disciplines, and across levels of management.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in a healthy team culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging, and collaboration.
- Demonstrated interest and empathy for understanding customer scenarios and experiences.
- Demonstrated product strategy and visionary.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
