The three key services a modern cloud offers to its users are deployment, monitoring, and repairs. The Azure Core One Deploy team builds the smarts at the crossroads of all these three. It orchestrates deployments and repairs for customer and infrastructural services on a global scale and dynamically applies the health data to safely stage across millions of machines while maintaining high availability guarantees on services themselves It is responsible for multi-level monitoring of both service and infrastructure health. Azure One Deploy System holds the key to unlocking rapid innovation while providing the most up-to-date infrastructure for customers maintaining service availability and quality.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to play a key role in crafting and delivering our next-generation Deployment Platform. You will be working alongside a team of skilled engineers to create a seamless change management platform for Azure's future needs. Responsibilities:

• Design solutions that streamline and automate provisioning and deployment for Azure customers.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and partners to deliver well-designed and architected features.

Write and review high-quality, performance-focused, and maintainable code.

A desire to make things better, curious, willing to learn new technologies, and can help us evolve the deployment platform for the next big growth.  You're always looking for ways we can be better as a team.

Clear and effective communication skills, be it when you write code, send emails, or explain complex technical issues to co-workers.

Analyzing and improving service efficiency and reliability

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, curious, willing to learn new technologies, and can help us evolve the cloud infrastructure for the next big growth.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

OR equivalent experience.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

Communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.

Experience working across various disciplines, groups, and teams.

Experience with Cloud technologies and environments.
