Overview
AI is transforming the world and design is evolving with it. At Microsoft, we are not just designing for the future, we are designing with it. As Microsoft continues to push the boundaries of AI, we are looking for passionate individuals to work on some of the most interesting and challenging AI questions of our time. This is an opportunity to help shape a new era of human computer interaction, where design and intelligence move in harmony and designers and AI collaborate as creative partners.
We are inviting the next generation of creative leaders to help shape how people communicate, coordinate, and belong in realworld group settings, with AI not as a tool, but as a groupmate. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Group Me team, a consumer product built around socially rich, informal group conversations at scale. In this role, you will think beyond screens and pixels, seeing interfaces as intelligent systems, workflows as conversations, and group experiences as living, evolving collaborators. You bring a solid visual design portfolio and proven experience designing and shipping consumer products, with the ability to balance craft, usability, and scale in highreach user experiences. You will design AI integration that understands group context, social norms, and collective intent, supporting conversations in ways that are subtle, trustworthy, and socially aware.
As both a designer and a builder, you already embrace generative AI and agents to amplify your capabilities and unlock new potential. If you thrive in ambiguity, love exploring the unknown, and want to define design in the age of intelligence, we’d love to work with you.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
