About the role

Overview

We are looking for an experienced recruiter based in Egypt to lead hiring for Microsoft's Commercial Business organisation, with a focus on Sales and Technical Sales talent across the Middle East & Africa. This is an opportunity to partner closely with business leaders, shape talent strategies, leverage AI-powered recruiting approaches, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes at one of the world's leading technology companies.

Beyond hiring great talent, you will help shape the future of recruiting across MEA by driving the adoption of AI-enabled sourcing, talent intelligence and modern recruitment practices that improve the quality, speed and effectiveness of hiring.

Responsibilities Shape Talent Strategy

  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring plans.
  • Use market insights, talent intelligence and data to influence hiring decisions and identify future talent opportunities.
  • Consult on critical hiring needs and recommend innovative approaches to attract top talent.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing talent market insights and recommendations that influence hiring decisions.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered recruiting practices across the hiring lifecycle, using talent intelligence, automation and emerging technologies to improve decision-making and recruiter effectiveness.

Attract Exceptional Talent

  • Build and manage diverse talent pipelines across Sales, Technical Sales and Commercial functions.
  • Leverage innovative sourcing techniques, AI-powered tools and talent intelligence to identify, engage and convert high-calibre candidates.
  • Position Microsoft's unique career opportunities, culture and impact to attract top talent in competitive markets.
  • Share market insights and best practices that strengthen recruiting outcomes across the region.

Deliver Outstanding Candidate Experiences

  • Guide candidates through every stage of the recruitment process with professionalism, transparency and care.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver an engaging, inclusive and consistent candidate experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring journey.
  • Anticipate and remove barriers that may impact candidate engagement or hiring success.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Ensure recruitment processes are executed efficiently and compliantly.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and leverage insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, optimise and enhance recruiting practices.
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor progress, influence decisions and improve hiring effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Experience in talent acquisition and recruiting across the Middle East & Africa market.
  • Experience hiring within Saudi Arabia, the UAE and broader Gulf Co-operation Coucil (GCC) markets.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI, automation and modern recruiting technologies to drive sourcing, talent mapping, candidate engagement and hiring outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions through data and market insights.
    This role supports employees across a region that requires professional fluency in Arabic and English.
