Responsibilities as Facilities Engineer:
The Facilities UPW/WW Engineer provides engineering support to oversee, plan and ensure proper operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater (WW). systems. He/She is expected to troubleshoot and respond to issues and interruptions of the systems. Handle and execute Ultra-Pure Water and waste water treatment systems engineering projects including upgrades, retrofits, expansion and maintenance.
This position will provide you with valuable exposure to the technology, allowing you to develop skills and knowledge that will be beneficial for your career growth and provide accelerated training in a fast-paced work environment and cross functional working opportunities.
Responsibilities
-
Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs.

Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.

Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations.

Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems.

Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible in meeting the Long-term Sustainability goal.

Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement.

Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking to new technology breakthrough.

Identification, evaluation, and potential implementation of advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering, or a related field.

Some experience in Water Treatment Plant.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Other Analytics tools.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
-
The capability to thrive in fast-paced environment, where adaptability and efficiency are essential qualities.

Having up to date technical knowledge and skills.
