About the Role

As a Department Admin Support for the Technology Products Group organization at Micron Technology, Inc., you will provide high level administrative support to enable effective organization and communication in a fast-paced environment. This role has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to improving the smooth operation of processes and activities within the scope of the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Travel, lodging and expense reports
    • Conference room reservations
    • Coordinate and organize team meetings and site events
    • Facilitate catering
  • Act as liaison to other Administrative Assistants
  • Coordinate office moves
  • Prepare emails, letters and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Distribute incoming communications and evaluate to identify those items needing priority attention
  • Conduct research and compile data for review as needed
  • Support Vice Presidents within the TPG Organization with calendar management and travel logistics
  • Ensure smooth office operations
  • Distribute incoming mail and packages for multiple TPG bullpens
  • Arrange and track package shipments
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs for area office equipment
  • Maintain office supply ordering and inventory
  • Order and maintain office equipment and act as liaison with contractors
  • Heavy coordination between and with IT, facilities, and security
  • Serve as an effective liaison between various Micron sites, departments, and other TPG locations in the resolution of day-to-day administrative problems
  • Provide department support
  • Provide area/building support
  • Provide back-up support to other TPG Administrative Assistants
  • Train incoming Administrative Professionals as needed
  • Travel and calendar support for TPG Vice Presidents as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience providing high level administrative support
  • Excellent calendar management skills
  • Experience arranging complex travel for domestic & international destinations
  • Proven ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization to support multiple activities in parallel
  • Reliable attention to detail, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • Previous experience developing policies and procedures
  • Previous experience working for a start-up company or new company location or moving a business from one location to another location
  • Strong decision-making capability
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to meet defined deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work well without direct supervision
  • Notary Public

Education

Associates or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Scope Limitations

The specified role does not encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Finalization of sales agreements or the execution of sales contracts is prohibited
  • The role does not carry the authority to make definitive decisions regarding contracts, be it their conclusion or termination
  • The role is not designed to involve participation in pricing negotiations or the authorization of contracts
