We are seeking a Senior Build Layout Engineer to be part of our ambitious DDR Team in Guadalajara, Mexico. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across our global footprint, working on multiple high-impact projects that drive the industry forward.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop critical analog, mixed-signal, custom digital blocks, and provide full chip-level integration support.
• Perform layout verification such as LVS/DRC/Antenna checks, and ensure quality documentation.
• Deliver block-level layouts on time, maintaining strict quality standards.
• Lead planning, area/time estimation, scheduling, delegation, and execution to meet project achievements.
• Mentor less experienced team members in their execution of sub-block level layouts and review their work.
• Communicate effectively with global engineering teams to ensure project success.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analog/custom layout development in advanced CMOS processes across various technology nodes (Planar, FinFET).
• BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related fields.
• Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Hands-on experience in crafting layouts for critical blocks such as Temperature Sensors, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, Ref Generators, Charge Pumps, and more.
• Strong knowledge of Analog Layout fundamentals (e.g., Matching, Electro-migration, Latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, and parasitic devices).
• Ability to understand build constraints and implement high-quality layouts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple tape-out support is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record in managing multiple layout projects with detailed quality checks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in physical verification of custom layouts.
