The Assistant Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and modernized platform engineering capabilities that enable Met Life’s global technology ecosystem to operate efficiently and scale effectively across the United States and supported regions. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the infrastructure foundation that supports Met Life’s customers, applications, and business operations.

- Assists with Developing and maintaining Azure DevOps (AzDO) pipelines, automation workflows, and CI/CD processes supporting enterprise platforms
- Using Agile methodologies, performs Scrum Master responsibilities and leads PI Planning activities for the Enterprise Application Platforms team
- Assists with supporting container image governance, including certification, maintenance, and promotion across environments
- Assists with implementing and enhancing automation using Ansible Automation Platform to streamline operational tasks
- Supports and maintains IBM Web Sphere, Liberty, and containerized runtimes across on‑prem and cloud platforms
- 1–3 years of professional IT experience in infrastructure engineering or platform operations
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline or related field experience
- Possess or be able to obtain Agile Scrum Master certification
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and container image governance.
- Basic knowledge and ability to work with at least one scripting or programming language (Python or shell preferred)
- Basic understanding and familiarity with IBM Web Sphere and Liberty runtimes, cloud platforms, and container orchestration (Azure AKS, ARO, or Open Shift)
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, technical teams, and business stakeholders
- Basic understanding and some experience with code versioning working with various repository platforms such as JFrog Artifactory, GitHub, or similar
- Familiarity with Ansible Automation Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and use of Azure DevOps for work management
- Relevant certifications (Agile, Azure, Red Hat, Kubernetes, or similar)
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $88,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
