Description and Requirements

Position Summary

This position is expected to perform with minimal in liaising with business, various technology partners and vendor partners to deliver high impact outcome in Azure cloud Administration and Operations using Terraform. Responsible for managing and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes in a 24×7 environment. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud services while driving automation and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide 24×7 global operational support for cloud services, including incident resolution and root cause analysis

2. Monitor cloud infrastructure, system alerts, and performance dashboards.

3. Perform basic troubleshooting for compute, storage, networking, and cloud services.

4. Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources (VMs, storage accounts, databases, etc.).

5. Support patching, backups, and routine maintenance tasks.

6. Follow incident management and change management processes.

7. Document standard operating procedures, runbooks, and recurring issues.

8. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement improvements and automation.

9. Ensure compliance with security guidelines and operational best practices.

10. Being a team player.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline

Experience

· 4 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in Azure Cloud Operations, Administration, and Platform Support

· Proven experience working in enterprise‑scale Azure environments supporting multiple application and platform teams

· Strong exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management

Knowledge and skills(general and technical)

Required Skills:

· Azure Cloud Administration:
Hands‑on experience managing Azure infrastructure, identity (RBAC/Entra ID), networking, storage, monitoring, and day‑to‑day cloud operations.

· Terraform (IaC):
Strong experience using Terraform to provision, manage, and standardize Azure infrastructure across environments.

Good to have skills

· DevOps & CI/CD (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions), ACR, AKS

· Exposure to data platforms (ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).

· Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

· Automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)

Certifications Preferred

· Microsoft Azure AZ‑900 Certification (Fundamentals)

· Microsoft Azure AZ-104 Certification (Administrator Associate)
