
Infrastructure Materials Manager
About the role
Meta is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Materials Manager to support the services of our physical infrastructure. The team is responsible for logistics support and material fulfillment for various technical teams that operate physical infrastructure.
The Infrastructure Materials Manager would manage material ordering & fulfillment, manage material escalation, coordinate execution activities, oversee vendor performance and operations, engage and influence various internal customers and enable automated processes and operational efficiency in a fast-paced and growing business area. This position is for an operations professional who can manage complex programs, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, and lead cross-functional efforts to support evolving customer needs.
Lastly, this role has high visibility and will be responsible for driving large-scale transformations and interfacing with leadership.
Infrastructure Materials Manager Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between ODM/OEM and Meta, to help manage, monitor, and drive spare material requirements for NPI and MP platforms
Own & manage end-to-end spare material procurement & fulfillment process ensuring adherence to predefined SLAs
Actively interact with internal partner teams such as demand planners, quality, Release to Production, sourcing, data center ops, etc., to understand, fulfill their spare material needs and help resolve inventory issues
Drive resolution for supply chain exceptions/escalations through prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and communications
Build and manage relationships with Suppliers/Vendors, ODM, and OEM, etc., and drive quarterly/strategic business reviews
Drive visibility into supplier lead times, commits/decommits, and proactively communicate with internal stakeholders on spare material availability status and risks to data center operations
Highlight supply risks and implement strategies to mitigate such risks in order to ensure supply continuity
Lead the development and implementation of spares systems, processes and tools to drive operational and cost efficiency across Meta’s multi-tier supply chain
Collaborate with XFN teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize capabilities and develop and scale operational management practices
Define and develop materials management focused metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to optimize supply chain execution and support healthy fleet availability
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business, or Other technical education, experience and degrees will be considered based on professional experience
10+ years of supply chain experience in supply chain fulfillment, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, and service operations
Experience in program management, vendor and stakeholder management
Working experience on supply chain tools such as SAP/Oracle/Kinaxis/BY and ERP systems
Experience managing complex supplier/vendor relationships, including ODM/OEM engagement, leadership escalations, and strategic business reviews
Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in a geographically distributed environment and experience working either independently or as part of a team
Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership
Experience communicating supply chain status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership through structured reporting and business reviews
In-depth understanding of supply chain systems and tools, including gap identification, troubleshooting, and providing input for system development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and driving clarity across the team
Experience defining processes, frameworks, or priorities in environments with evolving requirements and limited precedent
Experience in data center, hyperscale infrastructure, or high-tech hardware supply chains
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Track record of driving end-to-end process transformations that delivered measurable cost or efficiency improvements
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Experience managing supply chains for AI/GPU-intensive hardware platforms with unique spares and service requirements
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

United States of America: $138,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
