Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our R&D Quality Assurance Analytics & Tech Systems team. This role will be both responsible for developing and maintaining innovative data science solutions, and developing our Analytics solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with our business stakeholders to determine areas for business growth, develop new solutions using innovative technology, such as machine learning and generative AI, and develop/maintain Analytics Tools.
Key Responsibilities:

Technically support current and new Data Science requests within our Research & Development Division QA space, including developing new innovative models and maintaining current solutions.

Develop and support new and current Analytics solutions, using tools such as PowerBI, Spotfire, and SQL.

Support the development of any AD HOC Analytics and Reporting solutions in a rapid manner

Become a subject matter expert (SME) on the current R&D Quality Data Domain in our Data Science and Analytics projects.

Effectively communicate insights and results from data analysis to both the QA Analytics team and the business stakeholders.

Understand the business challenges and business context of our advanced solutions that we support.

Collaborate with the QA Analytics team to discover new innovative solutions to our business problems

Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and work with leads to determine the best implementation approach, and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand how to best utilize AI or Data Science algorithms.

Be an active member of internal data science community, along with participating in external company consortiums to understand how the industry is using cutting-edge technology.

Provide mentorship and education for team members interested in Generative AI, our Analytics tools, data literacy, or other advanced analytics concepts to upskill our team and business
Education Requirements
Mininum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or similar equivalent.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience using advanced analytical tools, such as Python, R, and advanced SQL

Proficient user of at least one data visualization tool, such as Power
BI and Spotfire:

Ability to develop new analytical models for advanced technical needs such as machine learning, forecasts, simulations, and optimizations.

Passion in learning and exploring the capabilities of new technology, as well as how to implement these technologies, such as Generative AI
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
-
Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
-
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a global organization.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
- Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday

The salary range for this role is
$129,000.00 - $203,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
