A. Job Title: Senior Training Manager

Position Objective:

The candidate leverages all resource to supports and facilitates learning and development activities of FLSL/SLSL commercial /compliance capability enhancement and influences the design and execution of the learning plan to achieve business results. The role supports the BU learning Team Leader in the execution of the learning strategy through consulting and delivery on appropriate learning solutions. S/he interacts with and influences BU Business Leader to understand business goals and performance needs, develops and executes learning plans of FLSL/SLSL commercial/compliance capability development aligned to the business strategy, and routinely engages with Management team to ensure learning solutions continue to support and positively drive desired outcomes. Success in this role depends on the candidate’s ability to collaborate with Business Leader and other training manager, as well as work cross-functionally to act as a Learning & Development Business Partner and point of contact for the FLSL/SLSL commercial /compliance performance needs and communicate them to support design and delivery of learning solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively establish, deepen and sustain key relationships with BU TEAM to understand their business needs and related performance gaps, provide oversight and analysis when defining requirements, and demonstrate an understanding of processes and methodology in order to provide appropriate management level learning solutions

  2. Lead collaborative efforts with BU TEAM to define desired performance outcomes; provide feedback and coaching on issues related to FLSL/SLSL commercial/compliance capability development learning programs

  3. Deliver training and/or support all management level training company wide

  4. Identify performance needs and gaps and facilitate delivery of FLSL/SLSL learning solutions to the business

  5. Monitor, analyze, interpret, and report internal trends; make recommendations for learning solutions for BU TEAM

  6. Ensure successful learning outcomes by directing the identification and translation of the client’s learning needs into a defined learning strategy and implemented solutions

  7. Act as a liaison between the CL function, BIZ leader from hospital channel to ensure alignment with learning needs. Ensure hospital team learning solutions created meet the requirements of the client.

  8. Act as a liaison between the L&D team and BU TEAM to ensure alignment with learning needs. Ensure learning solutions created meet the requirements of the client. Identify alternate non-training solutions when appropriate.

  9. Understand feedback provided by BU TEAM on the overall success of the learning solutions; Interpret and discuss feedback with Business Leaders from BU and monitor impact and cost-effectiveness of learning solutions; Suggest improvements to further enhance learning program effectiveness and sustainability.

  10. Report timely feedback on learning effectiveness to the business and communicate suggestions for improvement

  11. Document needs for customization or localization of learning programs

  12. Last but not least, all L&D team training work should be taken as requirement

Education / Professional Certificate:

ü Required: Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Business Administration, HR or Learning & Development

Working Experience:

ü Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields of pharmaceutical companies

ü Optional: Leadership or/and training experiences in areas of FMCG/E-com/B2B area, or comparable areas

Professional knowledge and skill

ü Strong in communications, presentation and interpersonal skills

ü Good at business diagnosis and course design

ü High level English skill with oral and written

ü Mature and sensitive to client (internal staff) needs
