Analyze China automotive market developments and generate strategic insights from demand, segment, policy and competitive shifts

Monitor competitor performance, product moves and technology roadmaps to derive actionable market intelligence

Generate customer, segment and market insights to support strategic projects and business decisions

Deliver forecasts, scenarios and executive insights using BI dashboards, data analytics and AI-supported synthesis

Support cross-functional strategic topics with fact-based analysis and clear insight generation

Provide HQ strategy teams with China market perspectives, assumptions and data-backed recommendations

Job designation
-
Manage market intelligence data and knowledge resources to enable insight generation and strategic analysis.

Maintain key data sources such as CATARC, CEIC and Mark Lines through regular collection, validation and consolidation;
-
Use BI tools and knowledge resources to track market signals, competitor moves and emerging topics for insight generation.

Develop periodical market intelligence reports and strategic insights on the China automotive market.

Prepare weekly and quarterly reports covering market trends, macroeconomics, regulation, technology and industry dynamics;
-
Translate data and AI-supported research into market outlooks, scenarios and concise insights for management discussions.

Support strategic studies, management reporting and special projects with insight-led analysis.

Conduct market, competitor and customer analyses to identify key implications for strategic planning and special topics;

Develop strategic storylines, presentations and recommendations based on evidence, BI analysis and insight synthesis.

Support team operations, governance and administrative activities.

Execute procurement, payment processing, budget tracking and documentation management in accordance with internal procedures;

Coordinate audit-related documentation and governance activities to ensure compliance with internal requirements.

Qualification
-
University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA is a plus
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive industry, corporate strategy, market intelligence, macro-economic analysis, product management, sales management or management consulting
-
Strong knowledge of the China automotive market, including competitive landscape, customer trends and international trade environment
-
Excellent analytical and articulation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Power BI, Python (or Excel) and PowerPoint
