Objectives:

• Development and Validation of Car-IT security Concepts and Requirements.

• Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for vehicle IT systems and components, identifying potential vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

• Specify cybersecurity goals and derive technical security requirements in alignment with ISO/SAE 21434 and other relevant standards.

• Develop and document Car-IT security concepts for both in-vehicle and external interfaces .

• Support the release process by providing Car-IT security assessments and signoffs.

• Central Contact for Car-IT Security Topics in Global cooperation projects or China specific development projects.

• First interface in Market China, responsible for solving functional safety related problems in production as well as in the aftersales market.

• Globally work together with Mercedes Benz RD China, RD Germany Headquarter, MBRDI India, MB Plants and external suppliers.

• Definition of technical specification for the future drivetrain software functions.

Qualification:

Education:

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Experience:

• Graduates with automotive or CarIT security industry, and with at least 3~5 years working experience at OEMs, suppliers, or cybersecurity firms.

• Experience with cybersecurity in automotive systems, especially with exposure to ISO/SAE 21434 & GB 44495

• Fluent English language skills; German language beneficial

• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434, GB 44495, NIST, etc.)

• Familiarity with automotive system architectures, security lifecycle, and threat analysis

• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, safety analysis software, and requirements management tools

• Analytic and systematic thinking

• Self-responsible working attitude and initiative

• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.

• Willingness to travel inside China and abroad for training and testing trips

• Driver license for passenger cars, preferable with at least 3 years’ driving experience.
