As a Senior Accountant specializing in financial reporting and technical accounting, you will play a vital role in delivering and overseeing complex accounting projects from design through implementation, working independently with limited supervision while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and adherence to accounting policies.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Apply ITA GAAP and US GAAP principles to analyze financial data and prepare accurate internal and external financial reports
  • Maintain oversight of accounts and records, including expenses, disbursements, tax payments, and income
  • Compile, analyze, and review financial information to record transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of reports
  • Prepare and consolidate balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, and statutory financial statements
  • Manage and execute the month-end close process in accordance with reporting timelines
  • Design, improve, and maintain accounting systems, policies, and internal controls to support proper financial reporting
  • Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions and support the implementation of new accounting standards

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, combining strong technical depth with a broad understanding of financial processes
  • Strong expertise in US GAAP and its application to internal and external financial reporting
  • Proven experience preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with Italian civil law
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage priorities across multiple deadlines
  • Fluent Italian and English skills, with excellent communication and influencing abilities when engaging senior internal and external stakeholders
