Role Overview:
The Stapling & Thoracic Principal Integrated Marketing Specialist will lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of upstream marketing activities for the Stapling portfolio and Thoracic specialty. This role is accountable for shaping the long-term portfolio vision, driving customer-focused innovation, and ensuring excellence in new product launches. The individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders to translate market insights into actionable strategies that maximize growth, differentiation, and value delivery.
This role will proactively ensure execution excellence of the strategy, understand the evolving market dynamics, and drive portfolio decisions to meet the needs of the region and the business. He/ she will be responsible for creating sales and marketing materials, managing campaigns, and educating healthcare professionals with key responsibilities that include collaborating with sales and product teams, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), analyzing market data, and managing events like conferences. This role will require a blend of strategic planning, technical understanding, and communication skills.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Develops and implements enterprise-wide, integrated marketing programs.

Develops the business case, strategies, budgets, executions, measurement and ongoing enhancements to meet the company's reputational and growth objectives.

Leads sponsorship and/or partnership strategies, including concepting, evaluation, creation and activation efforts.

Oversees the creation of all types of content to achieve Medtronic's reputational and messaging aims.

Utilizes omni-channel marketing models incorporating paid, owned, earned and shared content strategies.

Develops reputational KPI's, listening tools and the strategies for tracking and measuring program impact on reputation on a corporate, regional or global basis.

Leverages insights to strengthen programs and build new strategies.

Builds and maintains stakeholder contact programs and databases to directly connect and share MDT's point of view and insight to the right audiences.
Required Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

7+ years of progressive experience in marketing and market development.
-
Proven track record in portfolio strategy, product launches, and pricing strategy.
-
Prior experience working in similar large-scale healthcare strategic initiatives.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills with global and cross-functional stakeholders.

Demonstrated success in navigating matrix organizations and driving alignment across regions.

Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree.

Demonstrated expertise by creating innovative value propositions.
