A Day in the Life
Our Spinal Therapies division offer AIBLE a full eco system for spinal and cranial surgeries (Spine therapies, enabling technologies, navigation, 3d imaging and cranial and spinal robots). To support our business within Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) portfolio for Netherlands, we are currently looking for a customer-oriented Sales Manager to drive and implement strategic direction, sales objectives and targets for the Spinal Technologies businesses in line with the regional strategy.In this role, you will develop and coach a diverse, inclusive and high performing team that will achieve ambitious sales and profit targets. With the team you will spot business opportunities and negotiate business deals. You will report to the CST Business Leader Benelux. At least 50-75% of Travel is expected across the Netherlands.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Drive and implement strategic direction, objectives and targets for the Spinal Technologies businesses in line with the regional strategy
- Achieve sales revenue and profit targets for the Netherlands for the Spinal technologies and enabling technologies (P&L responsibility)
- Lead, coach and develop a diverse, inclusive and high performing team of Therapy Sales representatives, includigng KAM (Key Account Managers) and Capital Application Specialists
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Hospital key stakeholders (clinicians, economical etc..)
- Support the sales organization in securing and closing strategic opportunities within key accounts, negotiating larger deals, and managing tenders effectively
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the sales team in the Netherlands to ensure the successful execution of the overall sales strategy
- Build a strong internal network with Key functions (contract & tendering, customer care, finance, etc…)
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Business or Life Sciences and 5+ years of successful professional experience in biomedical or related industry
- Proven successful experience in leading and coaching people with diverse backgrounds, within a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Company
- Teamwork oriented and interested in working in a multicultural and cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and managing tenders
- Strong business acumen and networking skills
- Self-motivated, organized, solution-oriented with a positive attitude
- Fluency in both Dutch and English
