We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Generalist for our Swiss manufacturing facility for a maternity leave cover (6-8 months). You will partner with manufacturing leaders to coach managers and engage employees, bringing experience and expertise to the table, while closely collaborating with HR Centers of Expertise to drive solutions. You will utilize your HR expertise to lead local projects and initiatives that will contribute to the business results.
This role is a direct manufacturing site support role located onsite in our SMO, Swiss Manufacturing Organization in Tolochenaz.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

70% Employee Relations Specialist:

• Provide expert guidance and partnership to employees and people managers on HR practices and policies in compliance with local labor legislation.
• Support and coach managers in managing complex employee situations, including conflict resolution and performance improvement plans.
• Lead and conduct disciplinary investigations and provide guidance on appropriate actions in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Advise and support organizational changes and restructuring processes.
• Drive and coordinate initiatives related to employee and labor relations to ensure a constructive and compliant work environment.

30% HR Generalist – Local HR Projects (Site-based):

• Co-lead and support the implementation of site-specific HR initiatives and projects.
• Contribute to operational and organizational projects such as the introduction of the night shift and updates to internal staff regulations.
• Support the implementation of time-tracking for the IDL population.
• Participate in and contribute to local initiatives related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I).
• Partner with site leadership to ensure smooth execution of HR initiatives aligned with business needs.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in HR Employee Relations
• Knowledge in Swiss labour law
• Experience in Manufacturing environment is required
• Fluent in English and in French, both spoken and written
• Powerpoint presenting skills
