We are currently hiring sales representatives to support the Surgical Innovations (SI) team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative has the responsibility to achieve sales revenue targets for a specified territory, practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control. The role will cover Busan, Kyungnam and Ulsan area, will involve occasional outstation support as needed.

The BUSAN based team are well established and work well as a team, we are excited to bring someone in with a team first mentality to continue our strong culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services

  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

  • 0 - 5 years of relevant sales experience

  • Must have active driver’s license

  • Excellent commercial business acumen, active and outgoing personality, flexible and team-oriented

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korea languages

  • Computer and MS Office proficient

  • Willingness to travel in other given areas in South Korea as business and opportunities demand

  • Industry experience is highly regarded (Medical Devices or Healthcare)

  • Direct experience interacting and dealing with key opinion leaders and other leading roles in the scientific and clinical community is a great plus
