A Day in the Life

Job Specific Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Consultant to provide in-OR support, facilitating technology adoption and helping clinicians maximize the full potential of Medtronic’s products during procedures. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, building strong and lasting relationships based on expertise and trust. Your ability to guide and support clinicians will play a key role in enhancing therapy adoption and driving successful patient outcomes through partnership projects.

The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit develops life-restoring technologies for treating cardiac arrhythmias. We offer advanced cardiac mapping and ablation solutions designed to help clinicians diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms with precision. Our vision is to improve patient care worldwide by driving innovation in the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to achieve superior procedural outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Provides technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers.
• Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
• May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications.
• Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.
• May make technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.
• Conducts on-site education and consulting, and supports establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and technical staff.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, or a relevant advanced qualification.

• Good English level.

• Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently while also supporting broader team initiatives.

• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a professional, high-pressure environment.

• Flexibility to accommodate varied work schedules, including occasional weekend work and a willingness to travel as required for the role.
