Advisors & Consulting Services:
The Services area within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client’s organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
You will perform as a senior delivery leader responsible for shaping, leading, and governing complex, technology‑enabled programs that drive measurable client value. Your role goes beyond execution to define delivery strategy, operating models, and value realization approaches, while acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
You will be leading large, multiteam programs, often across product, engineering, and business domains, ensuring alignment between client strategy, technical execution, and business outcomes. In addition to delivery ownership, you play a key part in mentoring senior consultants, strengthening delivery capabilities, and contributing to account growth and firm IP.
Technical program management experience is required, including leadership of software or product delivery initiatives in complex client environments.

Own successful delivery of large-scale, complex technical programs across multiple teams and stakeholders

Shape and drive value realization, ensuring programs deliver measurable business outcomes

Align delivery strategy with client business objectives, technology roadmaps, and operating models

Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership on delivery, product, and technology topics

Proactively identify opportunities to expand scope, deepen client relationships, and support account growth

Represent Mastercard through delivery excellence, credibility, and thought leadership

o Build, lead, and sustain high-performing, multi-disciplinary delivery teams
o Mentors and develops other consultants, providing coaching on delivery leadership and client management
o Set delivery standards, best practices, and governance models across programs

Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partners effectively with product, engineering, design, and business teams
o Aligns internal stakeholders around delivery strategy, priorities, and dependencies

o Contribute to development of delivery playbooks, frameworks, and intellectual property
o Support onboarding and upskilling of delivery talent
o Act as a role model for Mastercard’s consulting and delivery culture
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)

Exposure to financial institutions or consultancy firms
-
Extensive experience delivering complex IT/software development projects or programs with high degree of autonomy
-
A recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
-
Capability to manage projects that span multiple teams and integrations.

Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple projects and/or engagements with third parties
-
Experience managing key client relationships
-
In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and their application.

Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
-
Ability to provide perspective on industry and marketplace
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project and Data Visualization and Reporting tools (like Power BI and Tableau)

Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading development and implementation of solutions and measuring impact on clients' business

Knowledge of modern project management tools

Exposure to payments, financial services, retail banking, or merchant environments

Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm

MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization
