Mastercard is looking for a talented Manager, Specialist Sales to join our Open Finance team. The position will be responsible for building net-new commercial partnerships with some of the most innovative and fastest-growing Fintech’s, digital merchants and marketplaces, and payments providers who are actively embracing the digitization of financial data to empower consumers and small businesses.
Role
- Your primary objective will be to establish net-new relationships with partners to accelerate profitable revenue growth. To achieve this objective, you will\
- Own a quota based solely on net new deals you bring in
- Build strong internal relationships and communication channels within the Open Banking team and the broader Mastercard organization to ensure a collaborative, unified and responsive interface to partner relationships.
- Analyze client needs, conduct research, develop thoughtful solutions and devise tactical plans to pursue business opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification, through pursuit and proposal development, to negotiation and contract execution.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline by identifying and selling prospects
- Successfully close new business through consultative and relationship-based selling.
- Achieve and exceed assigned quotas.
All About You:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- Multiple years of solution-based sales experience with quota responsibility (Open Finance / Open Banking sales experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of our clients’ top Open Finance use cases spanning payments, identity, onboarding, and lending.
- Ability to identify and sell in, to multiple stakeholders and buying centers at the partner organization.
- Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and over video, and ability to communicate effectively with C-level business executives.
- Self-driven, proactive, motivated and results oriented, with an ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations both internally and externally.
- Intermediate experience with Salesforce and Excel, with an ability to build revenue models and associated business cases for deal rationale/approval.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.

Purchase, New York: $115,000 - $164,000 USD
San Francisco, California: $120,000 - $172,000 USD
