Manager, Account Management – Fintech Segment (Regional LAC)

Mastercard’s LAC team is seeking an Account Manager to lead relationships with strategic regional Fintech clients. This role is essential to strengthening Mastercard’s position as a trusted partner in the segment, driving business growth, product adoption, and ecosystem expansion across multiple markets.
Responsibilities:

Design and execute the commercial strategy for key regional Fintech accounts in LAC, aligned with global and local priorities.

Serve as the bridge between local and global teams to ensure cohesive execution of Mastercard’s Fintech strategy, sharing best practices and aligning on program goals.

Partner with Digital Partnerships, Regional Fintech Leads, and Product teams to identify opportunities and build mutually beneficial relationships.

Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Services, and Operations to implement business plans and monitor performance.

Maintain a strong commercial pipeline with clear visibility, disciplined follow-up, and high conversion.

Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic decisions.

Negotiate and execute customer agreements, ensuring alignment with objectives and process excellence.

Proven experience engaging and supporting Fintech or startup clients, with strong skills managing enterprise-level commercial strategies.

Excellent relationship builder across multiple levels of client organizations, navigating complex stakeholder environments.

Strong financial acumen: business cases, P&L management, performance evaluation.

Strategic mindset with the ability to assess market trends, competition, and regulatory dynamics to identify opportunities.

Creative problem solver with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Tech-savvy, quick learner, and able to contribute thought leadership in Fintech innovation.

Results-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Thrives in ambiguity, embraces diverse perspectives, and works effectively in agile, cross-functional settings.

Knowledge of the LAC Fintech ecosystem is a strong plus.

Advanced English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
