The Global Authentication Product team is looking for a Manager, Product Management to help define, build and scale next-generation authentication solutions that increase security, convenience and trust across the digital ecosystem. The candidate's mission will be to advance product vision, shape technical and functional requirements, and drive adoption of innovative authentication capabilities used globally by issuers, merchants, and digital identity providers.
Specifically, the role is focused on delivering authentication solutions such as Passkeys, Secure Payment Confirmation (SPC), identity-wallet -based authentication and risk-based flows that are compatible with IDC program but also other authentication programs such as Token Authentication Framework (TAF).
The ideal candidate will define product construct including leveraging data analysis to support product value proposition, defining technical requirements, and prioritizing features. This individual will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve success such as with Regional Product, Design and Innovation teams, Engineering, Legal, Pricing and Commercialization Teams.
The candidate will bring deep knowledge of authentication standards, user experience principles, and platform design—and can translate complex technology and ecosystem dynamics into clear product direction.
Role
In this role, you will:

Product Strategy & Definition
-
Contribute to the long-term product strategy for authentication across passkeys, SPC, identity wallets, and risk-based authentication flows
-
Define product constructs, value propositions, and target use cases that address market needs and ecosystem trends
-
Ensure solutions align with evolving regulatory expectations (e.g., SCA, identity regulation, cross‑border authentication frameworks etc.)
-
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform prioritization, sizing, and business case development
-
Product Development & Execution
-
Translate strategy into structured product requirements, user journeys, and technical specifications
-
Drive Studio frameworks in partnership with cross functional stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of new products and enhancements
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Legal, Regions, CX&D) to support end-to-end product development (e.g., business case, pricing)

Contribute to the refinement and evolution of the Mastercard Identity Check (IDC) program, Token Authentication Framework (TAF) and other authentication programs ensuring new methods integrate smoothly and deliver measurable value

Go to Market & Launch

Support feature and product releases through close collaboration with Regional Product teams, Pricing, Legal, and Marketing

Partner with Commercialization team to create Go-To-Market deliverables, including product documentation, solution briefs and sales enablement materials

Performance Monitoring & Optimization
-
Monitor performance and operational metrics to identify challenges and make recommendations on proposed action plans for improvement opportunities

Recommend continuous optimization measures based on data driven insights

All About You
-
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
-
Proven experience in payments or authentication platform and solutions, ideally in a product-driven environment
-
Proven experience in product management
-
Ability to synthesize complex technical details into clear problem statements, requirements, and decision frameworks
-
Strong understanding of authentication standards or adjacent technologies is suitable (e.g., FIDO/passkeys, Web Authn, EMV 3‑D Secure, PSC/SPC, identity wallets, PKI, risk scoring)
-
Ability to turn qualitative, quantitative data and market analysis into actionable insights
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Proficiency in key business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, internal reporting tools)
-
Ability to thrive amid ambiguity, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate across global teams
