Job Summary

The Center for Nursing Excellence serves as a dynamic, system‑wide resource supporting nearly 5,000 nurses across Brigham and Faulkner. As a centralized hub, the team leads nurse onboarding and education, advances professional development and research, and plays a key role in Magnet and Joint Commission initiatives. This collaborative department blends education, innovation, and compliance to help nurses thrive at every stage of their careers.

Summary:

Responsible for providing project management support and initiating operational process improvements to contribute to the attainment of project objectives. Monitors project and operational activities maintain documentation and coordinates stakeholder communications. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and provides regular updates to the project team. Identifies and escalates issues and risks and recommends solutions.

Essential Functions
-Takes the lead in maintaining and monitoring multiple project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
-Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings.
-Ensures projects and operations adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
-Assesses and escalates project and operational risks and issues and provides solutions.
-Conducts research, maintains and analyzes data in systems, and develops reports to support projects.
-Liaise with the project team and key stakeholders to help define project requirements, scope, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
-Assist with the development of standard processes.

Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required:

1-2 years project management or project support experience required

  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Basic financial/accounting skills.
