Job Summary

The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites.

Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Acts in lead capacity to other nursing staff.
Essential Functions
-Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
-Administer medication to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
-Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
-Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
-Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
-Demonstrates best practices for staff to follow.
-May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.
-Performs education, onboarding, and precepting

Qualifications

Education:

Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials:

Registered Nurse MA - State License:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS -:

Basic Life Support [BLS Certification

Experience:

Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required

We are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour Lead Endoscopy Registered Nurse to work on site Monday-Friday between 6:30 am to 3:00 pm! Our Lead RN plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients during endoscopy procedures.
