MMA Vézina is the regional office of Marsh Mc Lennan Agency ("MMA") in Canada and offers property and casualty insurance brokerage services as well as life insurance (group insurance and retirement). MMA is present across North America and combines the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh Mc Lennan ("NYSE: MRSH"). Our regional office is located in Montreal on Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue, near the Olympic Stadium.

A day in the life

As an Accounting Clerk within the Finance team, you will be responsible for the rigorous and efficient management of daily accounting operations related to accounts receivable. In this capacity, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and the Accounting Technician to perform various essential tasks, such as reconciling direct billing, monitoring and recording deposits, as well as conducting financial analysis of the general ledger and the aging of accounts receivable. Your sharp critical thinking skills will contribute to the validation and reliability of accounting data.

Our future colleague

We would like to meet you if your professional background includes these qualifications and you have these skills:

• Between three to five years of experience in accounting;
• College diploma (DEC) in accounting, business management, or a related field;
• Proficiency in Excel;
• Fluency in French (written and oral);
• Proficiency in English is required, as this position involves frequent contact with international clients and/or external partners, and being the primary contact for assigned clients and/or external partners, no other employee can communicate on their behalf;

These additional qualifications and skills are a plus, but are not mandatory to apply:

• Proficiency with the EPIC software;
• Knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 tools.
