Support applications L2

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Support Applications team Marsh. This role will be based in Ciudad de México. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This position focuses on providing Level 2 support. The team is responsible for database management, data patching, and investigating application issues to ensure smooth operations and timely incident resolution.

We will count on you to:

• Understand the application, processes, and stakeholders involved.
• Analyze and clarify support tickets (incidents and service requests) with reporters.
• Coordinate with IT teams to provide technical solutions and monitor application/server health, logs, and alerts.
• Perform root cause analysis on high-priority tickets and share incident reports with stakeholders.
• Facilitate incident testing and communicate updates on tickets and deployments.
• Maintain professional relationships with business teams and provide ongoing support.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore stakeholders and regularly update them on ticket progress.
• Participate in process and project improvements and stay current with industry best practices.
• Identify and resolve software issues related to usability, security, and upgrades.
• Communicate software rollouts, outages, upgrades, training, and documentation to clients and users.
• Ensure adherence to implementation, support, and change management processes.
• Provide management with service summary reports.

What you need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 4 years of experience in application support.
• Must have hands-on Support and development experience in DOT NET, Python, APIs, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Must have hands-on experience in MS SQL Server
• Experience with one or more of these
• Angular, Node, Kubernates/Docker, Mongo/Postgres, Mobile, GitHub (Desirable)
• Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure (Desirable)
• ITIL Certified. (Desirable)
• ITSM Tools: Service Now, JIRA
• Monitoring Tools: Data Dog, Splunk
• Experience in supporting multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications using any design patterns
