We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Broking team at Guy Carpenter China. This role will be based in Beijing or Hong Kong Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Support in maintaining and developing client relationship for existing clients and new clients
• Support the best broking practice, which include client proposal, presentation, market submission & execution
• Build and maintain good relations with reinsurers
• Regular communication with client at counterpart level to collect client feedback, identify client need and gather market intelligence
• Conduct market research and information collecting
• Compile presentations and advisory documents under direction of a supervisor
• Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationship with clients and markets as required
• Any projects under the direction of management

What you need to have:

• University graduate with Finance, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Math etc
• Experience in insurance / reinsurance industry
• Experience in property and casualty insurance
• Experience in actuary or underwriting is a plus
• Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels, must be a good team player
• Well-versed in office software (word, excel, powerpoint)
