We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development Team at Marsh. This role will be based in Manila, Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will attend sales meetings and presentations, market research on trends and development and reporting. You’ll work with an assigned sales target/quota, ensuring your efforts translate into tangible business results while helping clients achieve their goals.

We will count on you to:

  • Attends and assists with sales meetings and presentations lead by senior level colleagues for varying types of accounts to gain exposure and insight as to market best practices.
  • Seeks and possesses an in-depth understanding of the business service offerings and products and applies it to market research and client appraisals.
  • Assists senior level colleagues on various aspects of the deal process in various industries or regions to gain practical knowledge and experience.
  • Conducts routine research on market trends or developments and existing business to assist in analysing opportunities and identifying and evaluating additional client or market needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation to closing—with an assigned sales target/quota.
  • With supervision, drafts due diligence reports and presentations which may include qualitative and quantitative market or product findings and including basic financial analyses to assist senior colleagues with live or potential deal work.
  • Presents findings and unique ideas regarding product work or market research to internal senior level colleagues to be utilized for sales work.
  • Belongs to various professional organizations grows a large professional network

What you need to have:

  • Degree in Business/Sales or Marketing
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Ideally someone with insurance broking experience, or someone experienced in sales within various industries such as beverages, logistics, data centres or constructions.
