MMA Vézina is the regional office of Marsh Mc Lennan Agency ("MMA") in Canada and offers property and casualty insurance brokerage services as well as life insurance (group insurance and retirement). MMA is present across North America and combines the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh Mc Lennan ("NYSE: MRSH"). Our regional office is located in Montreal on Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue, near the Olympic Stadium.

A day in the life

As a Financial Analyst within the Surety Team, you will be responsible for evaluating risks to make informed decisions regarding the issuance of surety bonds to businesses. To do so, you will work closely with the Vice President, Surety, conducting a comprehensive analysis of financial statements, including the evaluation of financial ratios and the company’s financial capacity, and then providing recommendations based on your thorough analysis.

Our future colleague

We would like to meet you if your professional background includes these qualifications and you have these skills:

• Have between one and three years of experience in surety or in the banking sector;
• Having completed a university degree in finance or a related field;
• Proficiency in Excel;
• Fluency in French (written and oral);
• Proficiency in English is required, as this position involves frequent contact with international clients and/or external partners, and being the primary contact for assigned clients and/or external partners, no other employee can communicate on their behalf;

These additional qualifications and skills are a plus, but are not mandatory to apply:

• Have experience in surety within the commercial property and casualty insurance sector;
• Proficiency with the EPIC software;
• Knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 tools.
