We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate & Commercial team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Townsville. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Account Executive – Corporate & Commercial We will count on you to:

• Maintain and grow personal relationships and a book of business, contributing to team sales targets.
• Conduct research and analyze personal accounts and core team accounts to understand business needs.
• Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance market to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions.
• Execute renewal/placement strategies in collaboration with the Placement, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive.
• Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions to gain new clients.
• Identify expansion opportunities for personal and team accounts, leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings.
• Define the strategy for custom solution development for the team portfolio, communicating sales targets and expectations.
• Attend industry events and conferences to build a strong professional network and represent the company.

What you need to have:

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial insurance environment.
• Tier 1 FSRA
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of general business functions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and meet deadlines consistently.
