Description:

We are seeking a **Senior Software Engineer(MEAN)**with strong back-end expertise to join us **in Cluj-Napoca, Romania **at our EMEA Technology Hub. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This hub is central to our digital strategy, addressing emerging challenges and enhancing service delivery through advanced technology solutions that empower our clients and promote sustainable growth.

We will count on you to

  • Ensuring code reviews done with peers and deliver bug free code check-ins
  • Ensuring seamless running of the application by regular security certs upgrades, technical framework upgrades, DAST and SAST security vulnerabilities remediation and other run the business work
  • Ensuring deliveries done within agreed SLA and as per the release plan
  • Support and ongoing development of existing systems, including the recommendation of changes to optimize the design and performance of network and security automation and management systems.
  • Use automation and management systems to deploy changes to the production, collect data and provide reports & dashboards for management visibility.
  • Document designs and operational procedures for managed systems and provide hand-off and training for operations teams. .
  • Oversees one or more teams that gathers functional requirements, works with subject matter experts to understand objectives and translates them into a set of requirements.
  • Validates the requirements with the business, and translates them into technical specifications for the developers, ensuring the end result is accepted by internal clients.
  • Directs work of the development team; drives all development activities; influences the technology decisions for moderately complex products.
  • Approves and accepts the deliverables released by development teams.
  • Conducts performance appraisals, monitors staff functions, monitors workload and projects of team members to ensure projects are aligned by resources, capacity and skills required.
  • Manages team to ensure proper development of project plan; communicates updated information; coordinates user review and approval.
  • Provides input into hiring, firing, promotion, salary and bonus decisions; Provides feedback mentors employees.
  • Design and development of internal applications to support initiatives within the Information Security space.

What you need to have

  • Excellent communication both in English and Romanian
  • Developing, maintaining and innovating on MEAN Stack using Angular v16+, Node JS v20+ and Mongo database
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on development techniques using MEAN Tech Stack
  • Experience with assisting team members from technical and functional point of view
  • Understanding of agile methodology to manage requirements gathering, task management and project reporting
