Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Political Risk & Structured Credit team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As an Assistant Vice President in the Political Risk & Structured Credit team, you will play a key role in servicing and growing client accounts across Asia. You will work closely with team heads to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners.

We will count on you to:

• Assist the department in developing both new and expanded business with prospects and existing clients, contributing to annual new business targets.
• Prepare market submissions on new transactions, consolidate client feedback, negotiate policy wording, and complete the policy placement process.
• Maintain strong relationships with Specialties clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate client requests.
• Monitor accounts including payments and collections, anticipating and preventing potential problems.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of insurance principles is beneficial.
• Broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance, asset-backed finance, and project finance transactions.
