We are hiring a Presentation Designer to join our Creative Studio. The Creative Studio is a global team of over 200 creatives who support Oliver Wyman's consulting teams worldwide across presentation design, editorial design, video production, motion graphics, illustration, and web design. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur and sits within the presentation design practice, the largest discipline in the studio.

What the job is about:

You design presentations – not decorative ones, functional ones. Your job is to take complex consulting content (strategy, data, analysis) and turn it into slides that communicate clearly. You work directly with consultants and project teams across different countries and time zones. While the Creative Studio covers a wide range of creative services, your focus is presentation design.

The range of work goes from straightforward project slides to complex, data-heavy decks and high-profile pitch presentations. You are expected to deliver all of it to a high standard, on time, and within brand guidelines.

You will work primarily in PowerPoint and the MS Office suite. Experience with data visualization tools or animation software is a plus. AI tools are part of the workflow — you should know how to use them and when to refine the output yourself.

If you have a particular strength — data visualization, animation, editorial layout — there is room to develop that into a real specialism within the team.

You will also communicate with clients professionally, support junior designers when needed, and contribute ideas for improving how the team works.

What we are looking for:

• A designer with a strong sense for communication design and/or experience in editorial design. Someone who thinks in structure, understands visual hierarchy, and pays close attention to detail. You should be technically confident, able to solve problems independently, and genuinely interested in getting better at what you do.
• Strong English language skills — written and spoken — are essential. You will be working in a global environment, and clear communication matters.
• You should apply if you are highly motivated, willing to learn new things, have an aesthetic eye and excellent attention to detail, and are fluent in written and spoken English. You are also deadline driven, organized and understand how people view and understand content.
• We are hiring at multiple levels — Junior Presentation Designer, Associate Presentation Designer, and Presentation Designer.
• Junior Presentation Designer — supports project slides, executes templates and basic data visuals; strong attention to detail; 0–2 years’ experience
• Associate Presentation Designer — handles standard project decks and some complex visuals independently; collaborates with consultants; 2–4 years’ experience.
• Presentation Designer — designs complex, data-heavy decks and high-profile pitches; mentors junior designers; 4+ years’ experience.
