Marsh is seeking candidates for the position of Principal Broker.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will suit an experienced insurance broker with 4+ years’ experience managing a commercial or corporate portfolio of business. This role will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, leading and participating in large new business tenders and proposals, building a network of opportunities and designing and placing complex insurance programs.

We will count on you to:

• Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.

• Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities.

• Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.

• On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.

• Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers at a senior level.

• Lead, plan, and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.

• Ensure effective account retention and defence strategies are in place for all clients.

• Actively participate in all claim-related matters and track new business opportunities.

What you need to have:

• 4+ years of commercial broking experience.

• Proven ability to produce new business.

• Extensive knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.

• Strong market presence within General Insurance.
